                                                              VIDEO REFLECTION 4

                                                                  TALL PAINTING

This video is about a type of art called ‘tall painting’. Holton Rower is a person who put forward the ‘tall painting’. This is very interesting to me. It seems so funny.

I like painting. I draw a picture in leisure times. When I was at secondary school, I used to like the art lesson most. I used to go in the contests. And I won several of them. I still hide awards which I received. This feels so good. Painting makes me relaxed. Sometimes I am bored and feel bad. At that times I draw a picture. I draw whatever I want and use various colors. While I am painting, I feel good and relaxed. I like drawing heart most. Sometimes I draw hundreds of. Sometimes I give the pictures of heart to my friends. I love hearts =)

As I said at first, I like painting. That’s way this video attracts my attention. People who are in the video, seem relaxed. They are pouring the dyes freely. The colors are so vivid that they seem wonderful. The dyes are poured in a harmonious way. While watching, you feel relaxed. It is so interesting that the dyes are not intermix and the colors are not disappear. I think that tall painting is a funny activity and I want to experience it=)

  1. Just to draw your attention, I just wanted to put a number of grammatical or logical mistakes that you unintentionally made while writing :) Do not be offended, pls :P

1- Holton Rower is a "person" who put(s) forward the ‘tall painting’.

2-I used to "go in?"(you mean "participate or enter the contest", right?) the contests.

3- People who are in the video "," seem relaxed. (Is the comma necessary here?)

4- ... and the colors "are not disappear" (you mean colors are not disappearing?)

These are the little mistakes that you did without noticing. Of course everyone can make mistakes. Here, I was aimed at showing you a number of them that drew my attention as well. I hope you did not bother at all.

By the way, the subject of the journal that you chose to write about is actually excellent. To be honest, I'm usually impressed with pictures that you draw during the lessons. And I remember that one day you handed a picture consisting of many many hearts to our beloved instructor, Işıl Günseli Kaçar. Actually, I knew that your intention was not her while drawing, but it was a moment that most of us became "moved". At that moment, you were giving many hearts to your teacher and this was something unusual for a college student. This cannot be measured materially. This is something coming out of your heart and love towards your teacher.

Here, I just wanted to share my ideas about your journal and the picture that you handed to our instructor. I truly know that you spend a lot of time to write such a great journal and this is what our instructor wants, I suppose.

    Well done! Wonderful Özkan! :)

  2. Eloooo :)

Firstly, I want to say that you chose the best topic for you. Although we know each other for just one term, we all noticed your interest in drawing. You are really happy when you draw something especially hearts. By the way, I want one of them in the second term as a remembrance from you :) I think drawing is very enjoyable, creative and relaxing activity. I wish I could draw but I can’t. Once, I thought to go to painting lesson, but then I thought that it is necessary to have ability. I’m afraid I haven’t :)

I like your video so much. It’s charming. It’s really interesting and incredible that dyes are pouring in harmonious and they are never intermix with each other. I admire painting one and again. I hope you will never give up painting because you are talented about it. To sum up,I like your subject and writing style.

Have a nice holiday dear :)

To me, this art performed in your video is so esthetic and nice. The thing called "magic of the colours" must be this one. I read your essay and watched the video related to it. I personally like art, so it attracted me.I hope you keep sharing reflections related to art and this kind of esthetic issues.when it comes to your grammar, I realized some gramatical mistakes . However, they were not barriers to prevent your writing from being fluential :) Well done :)
